crafting community, one retreat at a time

A retreat is a purposeful pause.

gather2knit retreats provide a space to rest and reflect, enjoy the company of other knitters, refine your skills in the craft of knitting, and embrace the beauty of our natural world.

gather2knit builds community and connection through our shared love of knitting.

Knitting

Come knit with us.

gather2knit offers intimate knitting retreats in inspiring spaces, with a focus on our beautiful home state of Maine. From farmhouse meadow and rolling hills, to lakeside shores and cabins, to fiber adventures and island escapes, each retreat is tailored specifically to the unique assets of its location, always including time to move our whole bodies (not just our hands).

Gatherings range from easily accessible weekends and single-day events to more remote, off-the-beaten path adventures. A variety of accommodation choices, from private to shared rooms or cabins, allows you to select the best option for your individual needs.

Some retreats include opportunities to learn new skills or practice elements of the knitting craft, while others may have a project or skill theme. You’re always invited to bring whatever current work-in-progress wants to come along for the adventure.

We believe in the strength of community and in the restorative power of beautiful natural spaces. We find joy in the slow, thoughtful craft of knitting. Join us!
